We’re looking for a Creative Designer with at least 2 years of experience in design, branding, or visual communication, ideally from a fast-paced tech or SaaS background.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how the world experiences Markopolo through visuals that inspire, explain, and move. From brand campaigns to product launches, your designs will tell our story across every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do:
- Conceptualize and design visuals, illustrations, and campaign assets for digital, print, and motion.
- Collaborate with the marketing, brand, and product teams to create scroll-stopping content for social media, ads, and growth campaigns.
- Work on UI/UX assets, improving product visuals and enhancing user experience.
- Design for both brand storytelling and product marketing, balancing aesthetics with clarity.
- Stay ahead of global design trends, experimenting with styles, layouts, and color systems.
- Maintain design consistency across platforms to ensure the brand identity remains sharp and unified.
- Efficiently manage multiple design requests in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Graphic or Creative Designer (preferably in SaaS or tech).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar tools.
- Experience in motion graphics or video editing (After Effects / Premiere Pro).
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Ability to handle both product design and brand storytelling projects.
- Curious, collaborative, and comfortable handling tight deadlines.
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience with 3D/animation tools.
30-60-90 Day Plan:
First 30 Days—Immerse & Execute
- Become thoroughly familiar with Markopolo’s brand language, color system, tone, and target user base.
- Study our current design assets and identify visual improvement areas.
- Create 2–3 design deliverables per week (social posts, static ads, or illustrations) under mentorship from the marketing team.
- Collaborate with the team on an ongoing campaign to understand the process and expectations.
- Present a design audit showcasing your early observations and creative recommendations.
Next 60 Days—Create & Elevate
- Take complete ownership of social media creativity, product visuals, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate directly with the product team on UI/UX design tasks, maintaining usability and visual alignment.
- Design and launch your first end-to-end mini-campaign from concept to delivery.
- Experiment with short-form video and motion-based content to bring our brand to life.
- Propose fresh visual directions based on market trends and analytics feedback.
Final 90 Days—Lead & Innovate
- Take the lead on a major visual project such as a rebranding element, campaign theme, or new product launch assets.
- Introduce 1–2 design process improvements (templates, style guides, or creative systems).
- Mentor new designers or interns joining during the quarter.
- Build and present a “Markopolo Design Showcase Deck” summarizing your best work, learnings, and creative growth.
- Strategize long-term visual direction with leadership for the upcoming quarters.
